Since I got my car I've had battery trouble it always dies if my car sits for 2 days. I already replaced it last winter and I'm having issues again..anyone else have these issues?

I have had an optima red top since I bought the car. Never had a problem. Even when I was stationed in Wyoming.

I think they do it at auto parts stores. Not sure, haven't had to get mine checked in a while. Any mechanic should be able to do it though.

I wouldn't think you would have problems with that low of miles. Maybe your battery doesn't have enough Cold Cranking Amps?

You also have an aftermarket audio system...if it wasn't wired right, it could be draining your battery while the car is off. It's worth looking in to.

There is no point in leaving it plugged in though. It's going to draw power from the battery. Could be part of the problem. I don't think they draw that much power though.

This too. It could me numerous things, you just have to see if anything you change solves the problem. For instance, unplugging your radar detector when your car is just going to sit there for two days

Maybe you bought a cheap ass battery? Or just got a shitty one.
Have that and your alternator checked. Although its not going to be your alternator if it only dies from sitting. A drain would be your most likely answer.
