Bent Radiator Support

When my motor blew in my car I had to tow it with a truck. The kid that towed me bent the **** out of my Radiator support. It is bent 4in to the left from the gm performance badge under the hood.

This is not a serviceable part. Someone on here has had to run into this problem before. How did you fix it. Not so nice to look at now.

No. Can't even get a part for it. Part of the frame or chassis

you towed from under the hood?
I got pulled out of sand in my mustang 10ish years ago, lower rad support bent. I couldnt straighten it. On the cobalt, it is a welded on peice that can be replaced for a large bill. I can look it up if you really need. It is a body shop repair.

My rad support bent in my accident, the gm collision place was able to fix it up.

You can replace the upper core support but you have to drill out the spot welds and re-weld it. I think you also have to check the alignment of the frame when you do this.

Fun stuff.

Since my car is lowered there was no way without him ripping my bumper and my intercooler off. I work at Gm and it is not a servicable part. Im going to call gm today and see what part tech has to say.
