Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

best clutches thread

I thought I might start a best clutches thread so everyone could throw down their stories about their expierience with the stock clutch and also what they did to replace it with a better one!!!! How did the better ones hold up and what did you find that makes them better......................

I would like to get one that is stiffer and has more grip but its not hight on th list. What do you have goin on in ur balt??

I'm just running stock but I keep hearing stories about blowing up these clutches. I have a stop light that I hit every time going to work and when the car was new and I hadn't got used to it yet .......I would smell burning clutch...............but I have that down now and no probs since then. I understand that if the clutch burns out there is no warrenty on these things so why not put a new one in............but what to put in is the question.
