In 1st gear if it's in gear and i am in traffic moving say I go from 1000 to 3000 rpm then let off the gas and slow down/hit the brake the car acts like it has a vaccum leak(the afr is EVERYWHERE) and stalls out.

Car is also throwing the p0140 and p0141 code like there is no tomorow! Seriously I turn it off and 4-5 miles later it is on

Some sort of fueling problem with the 80's hoping someone can point it out to me.


REALLY hoping I dont have a toasted ring

Does it happen when the car is at a certain rpm? i have this issue as well but i get no codes and it doesnt happen all the time.

 

No just first gear really. I will take it for a drive and check it in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th and let ya know later this afternoon

Well it HAS happened both times shortly after starting the the when the coolants at about 70-90
