big problem

ok dont know if anyone else has this problem, but I took my car to the dragstrip tonight reved my car up to about 4000 in first then dumped the clutch and I ended up shifting all the way through 3rd and my car wasnt even moving..anyone know what that might be? clutch maybe?

if you smelt something burning then its more than likley your clutch.

well people walking beside my car..was like I smell your clutch
my car only has 30000 miles on it will GM fix it?

my car is still drivable, but whenever it comes to doing a burnout thats like impossible

I think the problem is you dumped it at 4k and made it all the way to 3rd gear before figuring something was wrong.

yup you glazed it lol, oem clutches are about 300 bucks, easy enough to install if you know what your doing. recommend new slave cylinder and lines while your at it. personally i'd drive it like normal for a couple of weeks and see if it doesn't return back to normal

30k out of a clutch you dump all the time and abuse...not bad I suppose.. get a stage 10 clutch then maybe it will be soo hard to push you wont be able to dump it hahah jk
