block interchange

Hey guys I think I'm posting in the right section. I working on a guys cobalt ss/sc and cylinder four piston is fried and the wall is eat up pretty bad. It may be able to be sleeved but not sure yet. But here's the real question, I have a 2.2 block sitting in the shop, and I was wondering if the block was the same as the 2.0 block. If so the guy wants to use it to save himself some money.

2.0 internals and block off/loop the oil cooler stuff from what i understand

it wont have oil squirters, but it should be fine unless it is a high power build

Well the only thing aftermarket I think the guy is wanting is arp head studs, zzp forged pistons and a copper head gasket. But nothing big I believe
