Blue and black smoke??

When I first start my cobalt in the morning it idles Funky for 11 seconds then idles finebut if I slam on the gas it will blow blue and black smoke only during that first few minutes of being started. Any idea what could be causing this problem the performance of the vehicle has not been effected at all but I'd definitely like to find out what causes this problem.

Blue smoke typically means oil is getting burning off. Check your oil level. All cars are going to burn a little oil and you shouldn't be romping on it until it warms up anyway.

You could also just be running rich. What are your mods?

How many miles on car and do u have powell oil seperator? If not ur problem is probably ur intake manifold and pipes are full of oil and ur valves are gunked up. All needs to be cleaned

STOP slamming on the gas when its cold and the car will last longer and run better.

Also need model info, miles, mods, etc

Agreed with stomping on it when cold. Iv done it once or twice since I had my car and all it did was backfire and misfire . U can blow ur head gasket doin that .
