Boost problem

I have an 06 S/C stage 2 and I'm having an issue building boost. All the threads I've read have slightly different issues than mine so I'm making a thread to get it fixed. When I floor it in first gear my boost builds up to around 5 psi then drops until I hit 2nd gear and from 2nd gear on I can't build boost past 5 psi. Any suggestions? Also I'm pretty dumb when it comes to fixing cars so pardon me if I ask a "stupid question"

Check your boost bypass that's attached to your supercharger. Notorious for failing and causing your symptoms.

If you want more info as to things you can do to bypass it to see if it's the problem just do some searching. You'll find what you need.

Perhaps then the gauge is broken if you can hear it whine. You probably wouldn't with only 5 psi.

took my car to a shop didn't have any leaks at all and my aeroforce gauge is saying my boost is the same as the stock gauge, Anything else that might be causing the issue?

my car all of a sudden last night decided it wanted to build a little more boost. I can now hit around 10 psi but it doesn't get up there until i'm at almost redline. sits just under 5 until about 5500rpm then will get up to 10ish, is this normal for our cars?
