brake problem

My brakes keep going out on me and i ran through 3 containers of brake fluid. i bled all the brakes everytime this happens and still loss of fluid. now first thing i thot was a leak or hole but everytime i try to check i dont see anything and sunday there were 3 of us looking (one hitting the brakes) and nobody seen a leak or any fluid along with after i pulled out of the garage there was no puddle of fluid. i still have a clutch but when the fluid is completely empty it kinda feels a lil spongy.... anybody got an idea???

could the master cylinder be a part of this or do you guys think brake lines that i just didnt see the leak?

watch the fluid level. if it's not dropping, it's the master cylinder

Take it to a professional, brakes are nothing to screw around with.

x2. when you're on the highway, and have to stop at a light and the brakes give out, it's a little too late. i would get that looked at tomorrow morning if you can't figure it out.

well the reservoir loses fluid and the clutch is fine and doesnt slip. i got a brand new stage 3 spec clutch and new slave cylinder and it works great. i thot maybe i could have cracked the caliper (if possible) cuz after i went through a big ass puddle of ice water (when my brakes were really hot from slowing down from 80 to 25) thats when the whole problem stated

that is very possible, you should deff see a leak though with the amount of fluid you say its using

Don't guess what the problem is, take it to someone who can properly diagnose and correct the problem.

Master cylinder could be dumping into the vacuum booster.

i found the problem. the line going to the front drivers side leaks right where it goes into the caliper. would the brake lines offered by CA fix this?

heres the lines: http://www.cobalt-addiction.com/handling.htm

and it is actually where the screw goes in, no where on the line or on the caliper

i didnt look at them but if you wanna upgrade thats fine but really all you need is some new copper crush washers and then bleed the brakes any parts store should have em unless the caliber is cracked around the threads... which you should check if so buy a new caliber there easy to put on but that would deff be covered under warranty

i just passed my warranty. i only got the 3/36 i have an 05. but i did check and as far as i can tell there isnt any cracks on the threads, i cleaned it pretty good. i tightened it down some and its holding. now i just cant get my clutch to bleed
