So my brake started making a high squealing sound. I put CRC disc brake quiet on the back of the pads and they still squeal. Is there another part of the brakes I should apply this to or lube

 

Lube only on the guides. Are you already at the wear indicator on your pads?

 

Went out and got new pads and they squealed to.

 

Could be your rotors that are glazed up

 

I brought my car into the dealership for this when it was only 6 months old. When I went to pick it up they handed me a service bulletin and basically told me "it's a feature, not a defect" because high performance brakes. I learned to live with it. I'm running race pads now and they squeal like a dump truck. But boy do they slow the car down!!

 

Or could be the pads material mine dont squeak at all

 

I had thermoquiet ceramic brakes and they squeaked. took them off to look at them, they had metal in the pads. kinda fucked up. their supposed to be ceramic.
