Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

Broken door handle, door panel etc....HELP

Broken door handle, door panel etc....HELP

ok so the other day i was getting in my car and i shut the door, didnt slam it, just shut it casually, and this happened





and also my door doesnt fight right either, its not flush with the body



would this be covered under warrenty?

anyone?

I dont think that would be covered on warranty mainly because if you were pulling on that piece to shut the door.....thats not where you are suppose to yank it closed.......if you were pulling on the actual arm rest where you are suppose to and that piece just broke and popped out then yes you should get warranty......unless they deny you because you have had your door panels off before.

this happened to me multiple times after i kept taking the doors panels off to add in some dynamat.

it would happen when someone would jut pull the hand,le and not push the door to open it, it would sometimes pop out.

i just punched it back in place, and it was good to go. But once i got free time i took the door panel off and fixed it ymself. it couldnt take more then 15 mins. but this was about a year ago i forgt what exactly was wrong sorry.
