well my car is in for warranty service for a broken shifter cable. It snaped while shifting in to third gear. It was not the retaining clip it was the plastic end the goes on to the shifter linkage. Parts will take 3-5 day to ship here from U.S.

BTW its a 2009 ss/tc 5000km on it

 

it happened to mine with 3k miles except i couldnt go into 5th, without using the reverse lock out

 

Just happened to me.

$480 for both cables installed unwarrantied :-(
