bulbs burn out!
hey i just got the new projectors and within a week i have burnt out two silverstars in the same spot, driverside lowbeam. I figured i was probably an idiot with the first one and touch it by accident, but now im thinking somethings wrong? I know that alot of ppl have badluck with silverstars. Im thinking i might just go get a replacement for like 10 bucks then if that goes bad try some piaa's or something. any ideas what to do?

Silverstars don't last for crap, I had them on my Cavi and went through 3 sets in 6 months and gave up. Either spend the extra for some PIAAs or drop back down to something cheeper.

check the sockets. bulbs burning out like that are usually caused from a loose socket and the bulb rattles around in there eventually blowing it out. Take a small pick or something with a point, and bend the metal tabs on the sockets inward so the bulb fits tighter. It should help the problem. Either that or dont use silverstar

Get streetglow xenons, i've been rocking mine since last summer and they still rule, they even survived through a front-end car accident where the headlights were destroyed
