Burning oil while driving intermittently

While driving some times can see some blueish smoke behind me definitely coming from my car. I checked to see if my car had any new codes (because I have an hvac issue) and there is crankshaft sensor high duty cycle showing not sure if it would cause it to burn oil but I'm getting it replaced tomorrow morning. After the sensor is replaced I will keep an eye out.
any input would be appreciated

Have you been checking your oil level to see how much it is dropping? A bad sensor won't cause you to burn oil. Usually it is worn rings/cylinder that will make you start burning oil. Which car do you have and how many miles? Modified at all?
