Burnt Fuse, now in Service
Burnt Fuse, now in Service
Well I start the car this morning and sure enough the wipers and the boost gauge are not working. Since I live close to the delear I took it on over. Since there is a long line, I decide to check the manaul and find out if it's a fuse. Well sure enough #14 is burnt out and the replacemet that is supposed to be there is missing?!?! So I take the fuse to parts and he says it cost to much to buy, that checker would sell me 10 for the same price as one at chevy. He tells me if it's under warranty take it to serivce, so I take it to service to see if they will just give me a fuse so I can replace it. Serivce tells me to bring the car in so they can have a look at it.
All makes sense to me, I mean it only has 1478 mile and the fuse burnt out, so maybe their is an electrical issue? Anyone seen anything like this? Also I keep hearing about a flash for the CPU for idle issues. When I turn my A/C on it idles all weird for a few seconds and then it's all cool. Not sure if there is something I can tell my service guy. Anyways I don't know what to say but seeing my car go into the garage
twice with in the first month of owning it is a little dishearting but will see how it all comes out.

It will probably be covered under warranty, but is it really worth the wait? I mean, even at Target you can but a mulit-pack of mini-fuses for like $3.00 or so. You'll get a few each of 5, 10, and 15 amp fuses. Sucks that it popped already, though! I don't think there's an electrical issue, but likely a weak fuse. It's supposed to be 10A, but if it was weak it may have popped under a much lower current.
