make sure they don't kill your "GM Stage 2" tune if they issue a reflash to correct the issues you have above.

especially the misfire/idle code.

yeah at least your car is under warrenty... i took my exs car up to my work to get it looked at since she had to work and turns out the following is wrong:
lower intake manifold gaskets- $1163
fluid flush- total because the coolant has gotten into the oil.- $120
water pump- $424

and its a 1998 malibu with 100k on it,.. so total estimated costs with labor: 1732... talked to the service guy and he said he would take the labor down alittle more so that a couple hundred would come off. but dang!

that mailbu have the 3100/3400? nothing like leaking gaskets that's common. make sure they put regular anti freeze in instead of dex-cool or you will be back in at about 12,000 miles.

enjoy! http://www.consumeraffairs.com/autom...m_dexcool.html

new generation gm cars have better gaskets to solve this issue. but, the dexcool is corrusive and if not careful, will damage the car if it's not frequently drained. don't trust what the manual says. My buddies mom has an 04 Envoy that had the same problem. After $2800 the car is still not right and she is still making payments on a car out of warranty. she is trying to pay it off to avoid having to put any more money into it at 66,000miles.

I got a call from the dealer

1. clogged cat (looking at it tomorrow)
2. timing belt/chain (fixing tomorrow)
3. trim on the inside door handle is peeling (fixed warranty)
4. clunking noise in the front of the car when taking u turns (fixed warranty)
5. misfire code
6. idle surge (they said its fixed but i doubt it)
7. rattle inside the dash (still looking for it)

and i couldnt really hear the guy on the phone but he said that my fuel rail was corroded from bad gas and that it needs replaced so thatll cost close to 300$
