Exclamation car help

05 cobalt ls, 89,000. my car turns over but it doesnt sound like it wants to fire, all you hear is the starter turning and a lil putter sound form the exhaust. All fuses look good and i also swapped the relays too. Anybod have any ideas? i need my car and already missed a day of work.

check fuel, on the rail there is a service port, turn the key to run and off a few times, then take off the cap and push on the shrader valve inside, if fuel comes out in a jet, you have fuel, if it trickels out, or air comes out, its a pump issue.

When you put the key in the run position you should here the fuel pump turn on as well.

It really sounds like a fuel spark issue.

thats what im thinking, but the fuel part is the easiest thing to check, requires no special tools.

i doubt its an internal problem, you would hear some god awful noises if so. swap the pack and see what happens.

Wow did you give us info that you had a piggy back earlier? That seems like the first step if it was me.
