OK this is a new one to me. When driving with the A/C on and coming to a stop if you sit there long enough and then try to go (like sitting at a redlight) the car will start to putter and then stall out. Once stalled out if you try to start it right away A/C on and also off the car will putter real bad and if you try to take off stall out again. Now if you shut the car off and let it sit for 20+ seconds and then turn the car back on with the A/C off it will start up and run perfect. I have experienced this problem 3 times total. Also happens if you sitting in a drive through and turn the A/C on. Same **** happends. ZERO problems when A/C is off.

If your cruising down the high way with the A/C on and dont come to a stop no problems at all...

Anyone have any idea WTF could do something like this?

 

I don't get it. There was a fix for this in the GM stage 1 and 2 kits.

 

Ive noticed the same problem, although mine has not stalled but been close to it...! I have had the reflash done for the shitty idle before is this the same as the ac reflash?

 

Maybe ill take it in to get checked out. Considering I have stage 2 a reflash isnt going to COMPLETELY reflash my ECU and put me at before stage 2 is it I hope my dealer is smart enough to know the difference. DO they make specific adjustments for both Stage 2 ECU and stock ECU or are they backwards compatable?

I think I stall out cause I dont really rev before moving so IM so low in the RPM's it has to stall out. If I start my car back up right away and give it alot of gas it will allow the car to move but very choppy to atleast pull into a parking place or over to the side of the road. Then if I let it sit for a few it will start up fine and I can drive away problem free. It happend to me today while in the middle of the road after just busting a TL's ass. I was kinda embarassed cause after I beat him w/ the A/C on lol My car stalls out in the middle of the road :'(

 

I have to give it noticeably more gas when taking off with the AC on.
When I got stage2 put in there was a sheet attached with 2 codes that stated the idle issue with the AC on was taken care off.

Haven't stalled it but came damn close once.

 

Also have the stage 2 and the car runs like a bucket of crap with the ac on to begin with on the freeway expecially if feelsl ike its chuggin. I have only had my ss for 4 days now but today ac on and idleing in a drive thru for about 10 mins the damn thing just started free revving and running like garbage. If you tryed to give it gas it was just like it was missfireing. No Check engine light or anything but i pulled over turned the car off. Wait a few and started it again. The car ran fine again. It shouldnt do that! Gm im sure will have a reflash for it soon. Ill have to look at work on wensday to see if there are any bullitens for this issue.

I have this problem with my car sometimes but not to where it stalls out and it also happens when after i race at around 130 put it in nuetral and the rpms go bizzerk 300 tp 2000 in matter of miliseconds then i give it some gas in nuetral and slow down and it goes away like nothing happened
