Could of had a cam sensor fail ,not that it matters were you turning left or right when it stalled.

Cant do much in a parking lot.
Check all the fuses and relays under the hood to make sure they are seated.
Check connectors on pcm etc .

Your fuel pump may decide to quit on you again the next time it gets hot.

May be time for a new one. Have you ever replaced the fuel filter?

Change that fuel filter asap! It should be done every 12k miles. Your fuel pump hates you for all the added stress you put on it from trying to push gas through that nasty ass filter. Thats so hard on your pump. Let me guess you probably never fill your tank either. Gas is the only thing that keeps your pump cool so don't go below a half tank. Heat is the number one killer of anything electrical.

Yep still in the shop I told them where to loom but they're like well it fired right up for us( after a week of sitting on a flat bed) and now there is a code being thrown not sure which one but there was no code when I had it so Im just lost on this and the chevy dealer... Well let's just say I can't believe that all they work on is Chevys... Cause they don't know ****...

they called and left a message stating that the engine light was on at that they were calling to get more info on why it was brought in and of coarse they closed at noon today so i have to wait till monday to find out whats up...but my question is is if there is an engine light all of a sudden why are they asking me whats wrong???shouldn't that give them a good idea on where to start looking?

After they replace the CKP they will need to do a CASE relearn, but they shouldn't need to mess with the tune at all.
