My 2006 cobalt ss with a 2.4 litre and an automatic trans stalled on me today and when I put it in park and tried to start it again the starter solenoid clicked but it would crank. I tried to get someone to boost it but it still wouldn’t start. I dropped a new battery in and the alternator was recently replaced so I’m thinking it’s a wiring issue but I’m not sure where if anybody could give me an idea on where to start checking that would be great

 

So do you have power? Is everything else normal electrical wise?

 

Every thing works but the car won’t get enough power to start even when I’m boosting it

 

So does it crank at all or what does it do? Could be a bad starter
