I went outside today to start my car. Turn the key, radio turns on dash lights up and fuel pump humms and the car doesn't turn over. No clicks, no attempts to start it's just the radio and the fuel pump making noises. The battery in brand new, about 1 week old. I drove the car last night with out any issues. No CEL no weird noises or bumps. Anyone have any ideas?

Turned key, lights don't dim when I attempt to start the car
Tried to jump start the car - nothing.
Haven't tried to pop start yet but I really dont want to get the car stuck in the road and push it back to the house.

Well given the description its your starter. But it could be the clutch switch also

 

If it's standard try to bump start it. Temp solution at best if it works but better than nothing.
