What's up guys, I got an 06 lsj. I was sitting at a red light the other night and the car just shut off and won't turn over. Had to push it into a gas station and call triple A. Battery was fully charged. What could this be? I'm getting security icons on my dash when I attempt to turn the car on. I don't really wanna take the car to the dealer. Help me!!

 

The car doesn't just turn off and the security light comes on. Something had to of short, fuel pump died or a sensor died.

 

you must have a bad battery, big short, or a bad key.

 

Had the battery tested, and it's extremely good for being 5 years old. The cars are new from when I had the recall done I have no idea

 

And when you turn the key you can hear the fuel run so it wouldn't be a bad pump

 

sounds like it needs to relearn the key, but WHY this occurred is the issue. But, I am not a certified mechanic, and I don't play one on TV.

Also, 5 years old battery, be sure it is being tested under load. That's about how long my last battery lasted.
