When I turn my ignition on all the lights on the dash light up then go out except the CEL, when the car is running theres no CEL. Anyone got any idea why?

i'm assuming you're talking about ignition on, car not started. and yes. cel is the only one that won't turn off til you start the car. think of it as a way for you to know that it actually works. when some of those lights go out you would never know. that's a way for you to know that if something goes wrong you will know about it.
