Hey guys im getting a CEL for p0571 i used the search function and there isn't a ton of info on here..... so here we are and I'm asking for some assistance!
The light came on, I did double check all fuses and relays and it's neither one of those 2, I put all new bulbs in the third brake light (it took 3 of them) and the thing still dont light up.
Now the CEL states it could be the cruise control switch in the steering wheel or it could be the brake position switch.
Anyone have any ideas on this? And does anyone know how to replace the brake switch or where it's even located?
The cruise control switch in the steering wheel is simple enough, pop out the airbag and remove the 1 bolt holding it in and swap it with a new one....
But what about this brake switch it is stating?
My rear brake lights work just the middle one with the 3 bulbs does not, any advice or fix tips would be greatly appreciated, hate seeing that stupid CEL! OCD AWAYYYYY!
