Changing spark plugs

I have a set of step one colder plugs sittin here, and I want to put them on but I need to know if I should.

GM Stage 2, injen CAI. Ingalls TD. OTTP H/E

Will my car be okay with the step one colder plugs??

^ What are the upsides of these plugs? I got them as a present.

Also, I heard there was a little loss in HP?

The upside is the sparks temp is cooler so it doesnt heat the engine up as bad. They only make you loose hp if you are stock or go 2 step colder with your current mods. I say put them in, it will help you out...you wont notice any difference at all but your engine will.
