Chattering?? Help please

So I was installing my Ingalls the oter day with a friend. We installed it correctly. bolted everything down. I started my car with the hood open. The motor was warmed up so i proceeded to blip the throttle to see the difference in engine noise on the inside of the car and any shaking. so while i'm doing that. my friend told me there is a weird noise like chattering thats going on when my rpms are falling back down to idle. so i blipped the throttle to 3500... rpms fall... chatter from 3400 - 2900 or so and at idle. she is nice an quiet no noises. so we narrowed the noise onto the pasenger side of the engine bay. we couldnt pinpoint the noise. i'm wondering does anyone know what it is? could it be a belt tensioner? i have ZERO codes that are being thrown. my idle is fine, no weird smoke out the tailpipe, no hesitation. everything is just fine. nothing ouit of the ordinary to say oh no whats wrong with my car. please ask any questions to narrow it down. Thank You

also, it is not my tranny. no grinds, clutch grabs beautiful

but how could it make the chattering noise? its just 4 bolts...

i'll remove it and try it without and see if i hear it. if it doesnt do it with it on... than i am very confused. i heard ingalls chattering before. but only at idle. because of washers... there is no washers on mine

the ingalls is creating extra vibrations. those vibrations have to go somewhere.

After a while the spercharger coupler tends to make a bit of noise. Was your car warmed up when you started the install? When mine is restarted after cooling a little but not all the way (especially when I restart between 140-160* coolant temp) it makes a hell of a racket until it warms all the way through again.

no shes pretty quiet. D4u2s0t and Otown have a good point. and yes it was warmed up when i started my install and when i was finished the temp was at about 154. so do you think i should have her at running temp for me 174, open the hood and blip the throttle to see if the same sound occurs? i wish i didnt have electric throttle so i can blip the throttle standing out there. cause i'll be alone.

Drive it around for a little while till it's all nice and warm. If it goes away, no worries. Just another fun little supercharger quirk.

These cars are noisey. It may just be the injectors, they are noisey as all hell.

ok so when i got home. before i went to the track (didnt run my car just to record and watch friends) i located the noise to the tensioner i believe, and on the way over to a friends house i did a WOT in 2nd and 3rd. i actually expierenced a SPLIT second of slipping around 5400 RPM in second, not third. i do have the GM stage 2 belt. so i guess its time for a new tensioner? also, when we were done at the track i went to my car and started it up. i had a CEL on. so i hooked my OBD up and i have 2 codes for the crankshaft relearn... i guess i need to do a relearn now also. tomorrow i will bring my car into the dealer and say i believe i need a belt tensioner and i need ONLY a crankshaft relearn. I recently put on ZZP stage 2 with there PCM. so i can only guess thats why i need a crank relearn. i did drive to work today do you think that will damage my motor? i dont put a load on my motor or anything as in putting boost on my s/c in lamence terms...

think my car can make it to the dealer tomorrow morning basically?

Needing a crank relearn won't hurt the motor until you can get it done. The tensioner is a PITA but not overly hard to change so not much of a problem. The only thing you will have to hope when getting the crank relearn is that if they scan the PCM they will know it isn't the stock tune and they may charge you or worse void the warranty.
