So I installed my exhaust today, and started driving to work, which is in my town thnk god, and started to here a loud clunking/tapping on my rar passenger side. It sounds as though metal is hitting metal everytime I hit a bump on that side. Anyone have any clue what it could be? I;m going to put it on a lift tomorrow and see, but any adivce would be nice. the only parts i took off were the wheels and disconnected the struts from the rear axle. I checked the strut in the dark and it seems tight, the only thing I can think of is that the spring didn't seat right when i put the strut back on....

Sure its not the exhaust hitting somewhere ?
Over top of the rear axel or a heat sheild.

 

hey thanks. so it ended up being the spring. i forgot to check to make sure it was seated correctly and the bottom was in and he top wasn't so the spring was kinda just hanging in there. haha good thing i didnt take it on the highway.

haha kinda, but i guess it cold have happened to anyone. live and learn i suppose to my defense, i started the install in clear weather and halfway threw it started pouring so by the time i was reinstalling the struts and seating the springs, my hands were numb and my clothes were soaked haha
