Whenever I give my car gas it thinks I am still on the clutch. I have a 2.4L and every time I give it gas the RPM's just shoot to redline and I barely move, and when I get out of the car it smells like burnt clutch. I know it's not my driving, can any think of why it would do this?

 

sounds pretty serious.
time to go to the dealership.

lol, well I know its not my driving, been at it for 2 years. Just a sporadic problem. Hoping I wont have to hit up the dealer but I will probably have to.
