About the intake I couldn't answer your question because I have an LSJ, and as for the first gear thing, mine has been doing it for a long time. I ended up changing the oil in the tranny and bleeding it and it stopped doing it. Its been about 3 days now and it hasn't done it again. Try that if it continues doing it someone on here told me it might be the syncros going out.

2.2 and 2.4 intakes are identical. If it doesn't fit yours then it won't fit the 2.4.

2.2 and 2.4 are interchangable. The 2.0 intakes are entirely different and will not fit your car.
