Coolant Issue..?

So, just now, my coolant reading stopped working. It was working fine, but then suddenly switched to 3 bars. And my fan seems to be staying on. WTF? lol I'm out, so I don't know what's going on here.. Ideas?? Thanks!

Edit: Just a thought.. I just converted from SRI to CAI the other day.. Could that be anything? The motor feels normal and everything seems fine under the hood..

Well, after a few hours of it being off, it started working again.. Any idea of why it glitched like this? Clearly nothing came "loose" or anything since it went back to working again..

The pcm will default the fans on when it doesnt get any input from the coolant sensor.
Keep ann eye on it and maybe take a look at the connector for the coolant sensor.

That's what I figured.. As a precaution to default the fans on.. I figured everything was cool because the block didn't seem overly hot, and the CAI was a damn freezer..

Back side of the engine, drivers side. Between 2 coolant tubes just below the manifold, its kind of hard to describe...
