Coolant Temp Bouncing

I have an 06 ss\sc just installed OTTP H\E i just want to double check i installed correctly. So the top hose goes hooked up with the out hose of the stock h\e and the bottom hose goes hooked up with the top or in of the ic pump correct? I dont have a dual pass yet or option b. I'm just wondering cause i've been driving around today watch my coolant temp bounce around. Usually it stays around 183 or so today it was going over that. also whats the correct way to flush and fill the whole system? Any help would be greatlly appreciated thanks in advance.

the coolant system for the supercharger is completely different then the system for the engine. the temp gauge on the dash is for the engine. there isnt a sensor in the supercharger system for coolant temp.

It's probably just an airflow issue. Your new H/E is now blocking flow to your radiator. This is why the most efficient recommendation is to replace the stock H/E with a griffin unit...

Yes I am

I needed soemthing to plug the drain hole in OTTP's H/E so I got an adaptor and pluged it with a fluid temp sensor that I ran to my Analogic Gauge
I Love my gauges

as long as it doesn't start going over 230+ it's fine. if you're that worried, get hptuned and command the fans to be on all the time.

Where does the OTTP H/E get it's airflow from? Where does the radiator get it's airflow from?

what i was saying is that the HE doesnt cover the radiator all that much. just a little on the bottom of it. the HE gets its air through the lower opening...radiator mostly through the upper grill.

Ya those are normal temps,
Also remember your engine is working harder to keep you at cruise then it is idleing at a stoplight....
BUT.. you have more airflow at cruise so your temps will be lower, when you stop, your temp well go up since you just lost your cooling air, Once temps reach a cetin point determined by your tuen (I think 223 to 230 degrees) your fans will start to come on, slow at first then faster giveing you back your cooling air.

easiest way is opt b takes like 3 mins cause it'll bleed the air by itself. without option b you'll have to fill, drive, fill drive, etc.

custom one is meh. flow through is only going to be considered to be advantageous over opt b in the fact that you can put ice in it if you're at the track. at that point you're grasping at air though imo. the one pictured doesn't bleed air either.
