Crankshaft Pulley
Crankshaft Pulley
Hey everyone, so my car's been in the garage for a couple days now, and will stay there until tuesday because of labor day weekend. The mechanic found that the crankshaft pulley and crankshaft pulley seal are both going bad and are posing a threat to the harmonic balancer, so he told me that I'll need to go to the dealer on tuesday and purchase the pulley and seal. Would the dealer have the crankshaft pulley for my car or is it something I would need to order online? Also, my transaxle seal on the right side is going bad, is that also a dealer item?
are you a 2.2/2.4 or a 2.0? i have a spare 2.0 crank pulley. you will also need a crank pulley bolt because it is torque to yield
might have to clarify myself there... i have a stock 5 rib pulley

Thanks for the awesome answers guys, this is why I come here with my questions haha. And yeah it's for a 2.0L, but I need it asap because the college semester starts on wednesday, so that means tuesday I'll be going through every chevy dealer in Michigan to find the parts I need lol. And do I get the pulley bolt from the dealer as well?
wait a second... i just read op again... crankshaft pulley IS the harmonic balancer... your pulley should not be bad... might be a bad seal, yes. and any auto parts store should have one of those
