Ouch man that really sucks..

I'm lucky I didn't hit gravel doing what i was doing today. Took a 45 MPH turn at over 80 MPH. It was fun, btu the turn was sharper than I remembered it being lol. Tires were skidding like hell. My buddy was scared shitless. lol

First there is damage through out the car... Check the gaps near the trunk and the doors... Should be off..

Needs new front rails, core support, bumper, fender, ect...

Now if there is damage to the engine like cracks and other things they might total it...

Just depends on the insurance...

it's hard to tell from just the pics if it's totaled or not...by the looks of how far the bumper got pushed in, you aren't able to tell if the subframe or anything is bent throughout the car and it looks like you got part of the drivers quarter as well...

in any event, glad you're okay and good luck! if all else fails and they total it, get the money, buy it back and fix it ...might end up being better in the long run anyway, just sucks cause it'll be R titled

I believe him when he says he wasn't going too fast.... you have to remember that the front end of all modern cars are designed to crumple up and absorb the shock of impact. It honestly doesn't take much to smash up the front end of a car nowadays. I wrecked a Ford Ranger a few years back where traffic came to a sudden stop. Had to replace the whole front cap and a/c condensor.... No damage to the Isuzu Trooper I hit nor did my airbags go off, so you can see that speed wasn't a factor.
