Cruise Control

I have had my car for over 1,500 miles now and found the cruise control doesn't work? Does the computer not let the cruise control work for the first few thousand miles so that the engine gets broken in? I have a ss s/c, and I'm pretty sure I've tried everything.

any help thanks...

Probably a fuse. Take it to the dealer, and they should fix it right up. Have them check the fuses - if that's indeed the problem, you should be in and out in 5 minutes.

You probably tripped the trouble code if you had your foot resting on the clutch and tried accellerating. I did it to mine at 400 miles and was like WTF, but I took it to the dealer and had the code cleared, no problems since. I just don't rest my foot on the clutch anymore.

mine was a problem with the switch on the clutch telling the Computer the clutch was all the way up, the switch was so sensitive that the weight of the pedal would set it off. then my Cruise wouldn't work. They replaced the switch and even adjusted it down so I have to push the pedal to get it to shut off the cruise.
