Cruise control out?

I was wandering if anyone else has had this problem. During the winter time it went out and for some reason it hasnt came back on yet. Sometimes it will flash Cruise Engaged if i push the button but will not come on. If anyone could help me out please let me know.

Thanks

your clutch was/is engaged too much, I forgot the exact reason basically you rest your foot on the clutch so it disabled the cruise. Unhook the battery for 10 minutes and you will get your cruise back, just try to not rest your foot on the clutch.

assuming you have a standard...

Yeah if you touch the clutch even a tiny bit it will turn off cruise... so make sure it's not that.

I have a SS/SC so yea it is manual. I dont rest my foot on clutch though. When I drive on the highway no need for it! I was thinking it was a problem with the cylinder or something like that. I will try to unhook though to see if that works. Ihave tried to pull up on the clutch to see if it was engaged to much

I had the same problem, and it was one of the clutch position switches that went bad. Do you notice that your RPMs hang a bit between shifts?

My car(ss/sc) got stuck in mud and I had to rock it to get it unstuck and the cruise stopped working. Like others have said try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes it fixed mine.
