Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

cylinders dead

i have a 2006 ss sc and my plugs that where in it were the wrong ones. now my car has cylinder 2 4 r dead nothing at all no compression. n cylinder 1 3 r at 170 for compression. any ideas what could b causeing this.

Blown rings, Head gasket, bend valves.
Best thing to do is first pull the head and see whats going on.

Do a leakdown test and see if you hear air escaping from the crank case. If so rings are shot.
