Damn Cobalt

Well i have been having an idle/surging problem for awhile now and finally tried some things. Pulled my TB spacer off and bam methanol everywhere so i clean that up and the inlet of the blower throw on my tb w/o the spacer crank it down start the car idles 80% better still the ocassional miss but farther apart and not as obvious. the whole reason i checked is after driving 5 minutes home from work i get a funky burning smell(the smell if u ride the **** outta your breaks smell) i never hit brakes hard. pop hood and a lil coloud of steam/smoke now with my meth unhooked and the nozzle laying on the car i notice that i have a leak on my nozzle i believe its a bad check valve which explains the running rich at idle and y it could not be tuned out. now i need 2 move my pulley over a tad bit to make it perfectly aligned and hopefully thats causing my miss. about the cloud of smoke i have no fricken clue. meth kits coming out of the car for now and going back 2 the 2.8 and 60s non meth tune and going from there

What i ment is that the meth could have cause the cloud of smoke if its not that then it could to be a blown head gasket.

check your oil for the head gasket for a creamy look and if it smells like burnt coolant that could be it too.

the smell will only be there if its been running and look around the head see if you see coolant leaking any where. The oil is normally a creamy color when it mixes with coolant.
