damn headlights!!!

alright guys, i made a thread about this earlier, and i tried to reaim them but it wasnt working out to well, so i wanted to make a new thread, cuz now its a new problem.

i bought a set of black headlight housings (not projectors) i have them installed in the car and i have got my luminics ultra white lights in them. now the problem im having is that the black piece that you twist in on the back of the headlight (the part that goes on after you put the light in) will not screw in and stay tight.

the reason that this is a problem is becaust everytime i try to re-aim the lights (by turning the adjusting screw that ur supposed to turn to re-aim them) it doesnt seem to be doing nething because the black part isnt screwed in tight! so if nebody has any suggestions as to what i can do to make the black part scew in tight. please let me kno.

(these arent my pics, i just found them on the site)

bump.. ne1?

i am a noob. if ur talking about this part,

then ill include that on my headlights it isnt something u would use an allen wrench on, its a phillips screw, so i just use a phillips screwdriver.

yea i kno that that is the thing used to aim them. i learned that in my other thread (and in the owners manual). lol but what i wanted to kno was how do i get that black piece to stick in there tighter (in my original post) so that when i am turning that screw for re-aiming that it doesnt just keep moving back down....

yea there are slots. i didnt get the black piece to slide into the slots but i definatly have it jammed in there so that it wont move. ill try again tonight when it gets dark out and hopefully it works, or else these things will be right up back for sale and ill just buy a set of projectors.

well i looked into the lights a lil bit closer, and i noticed that the screw used to re-aim them is not connected to the reflector inside the housing, that is why i havnt been able to re-aim them. im pretty pissed cuz now i might ahve to pay to ship them back to the company that i ordered them from, and then have to pay again for them to ship me another set!!!!!!!!

and no there isnt anything i can do to get the screw back in unless i take the whole unit apart.
