ok.last week after not driving my car for a few days i went to start my SS and it wouldnt start.completely dead.so i jumpwed it with my stang and she started right up.now,the car sat for the last two days and it was dead again.this time i jumped it with my wifes VIBE and she satrted right up.now there was a car with a lock on it lit up on dash.it has since went away.does anyone know what that is?also does this sound like bad battery?the car is an 07 non - supercharged SS WITH ABOUT 50,000 ON IT.NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE.

 

your battery is dead/not holding a charge and once it starts up you just run off the power your alternator is making. replace your battery or your alternator will die as well.

 

Dont worry about the light its just the security system

where can i get a battery?napa is not listing any.

 

You can get them at pepboys, autozone, and just about any parts dealer. I got mine at salvo. Usually they last 4 to 5 years
