dead cobalt
My cobalt is killing me.... Something in the wiring in the car is shorting everything out... The dealership has had my car for 3 straight days... 17 of the last 40 days... Everytime they fix something the car re-breaks it... They have replaced the window motor 3 times and it keeps shorting, my dashlights keep blowing fuses and now everything is acting up... I am so sick and tired of driving rentals and losing hours of every day dealing with my car. If I cant get away from this thing I dont know what I will do..... I hate to be this upside down in a new car loan but I have a feeling it might be close.

with my luck the car will never make it to "lemon status". Its almost a lemon, like a lime of sorts...... I'll take almost anything instead.... Not another cobalt, maybe a ss/sc.. Right now I'm preparing to bite a few grand on a trade if things keep up. I'm thinking either, f-150 or mustang GT.... My GM experience lately hasnt left me wanting more.

know the number by heart.......... I'm so sick of this, the worst part is I really dont think I want another cobalt and there is nothing else that chevy really has that I want.... Maybe a silverado, but right now I'm ready to bite it and go for that mustang.............. I just need a working car so I can trade it in.

just got notice from my dealer that they "think" they have found the problem and they "should" have it fixed by tomorrow.... If so my car is good as new for now... If not I got a lemon and my car will be new.

Yeah man, sounds like you are going to an incompetant dealership. I deal with about 50% of electrical problems at work. Electrical shorts can be very tedious to find, but they should have gotten it the first time...take it to another dealership before you try the lemon law. And place a complaint to GM about your dealership.
