DIC coolent temp?

Has anybody here had problems with their DIC not displaying their coolent temp properly? I noticed last night, that mine says ' ----- *C '. I checked this morning, and same thing.

I called the dealer, and they said that if their were no warning lights on, then it should be fine, but I booked an apointment to at least get the DIC looked at.

The CTS is on the back drivers side where the heater hoses go to the engine.

I believe so, its brass with a plastic two wire connector screws in to the coolant line where the heater hoses go into the engine.

I would check the connector to make sure its plugged in, check wire for damage and test the sensor for proper resistance values if the wiring is OK.
