re: Bosch spark plug probs

Heres the original link. wanted to ask a few questions in this section. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-2l-l61-performance-tech-45/warning-bosch-4s-88722/

If you check out the pics in this thread, my plugs look exactly the same. the 2 outside cylinders plugs were solid black, while the inside 2 look fine. Last night the car was fine, this morning, it would barely run. I made it to Autozone and it threw a code of P0300, which is a misfire. Wanted to get everyones opinion on this one. Looks like the others said it was a coil issue and I believe that is what i have. It costs about $130 at Advance Auto Parts, but takes 5-7 days to get here. BTW, I have a 05 2.2 manual. thanks.

Yeah it may be the coils not firing properly.

I had a very similar problem. I had my car tuned and was running very lean unfortunately and made the Bosch platinum 4+ plugs I have white which in turn cause a multiple cylinder misfire. I replaced the plugs with new ones and had my tune go back to stock and havent had a problem since.

the guy at autozone also deleted all of my codes and he said they will come back though if you still have problems and they havent came back
