A different rattle...

Lately I've noticed a rattle after I go over a speed bump or anything like that. Even if I go real slow over it, there is sometimes a rattle from the passenger side rear of the car. The rattle starts once the rear wheels hit the normal road after going over the bump, and it lasts for a few seconds.

The first time I heard it, I thought it was just the "ghost knocking", but it isn't quite as loud as that and happens quite a bit more. I need to get an oil change in a couple of weeks, so I'll have them look at it then, but has anyone else had that rattle?

Check the latch for the rear-folding seat. That's been a common cause before...

I have MUCHO rattles in my car and its pissing me off. I found the one that was in the back...it was a clp that holds the back dash down or something. The one that really bothers me is a rattle right up by my head...somewhere in the weather strip or side airbag. The dealer, conveniently, didn't hear ANY rattles.

The worst for me at the moment is one of the rear speaker housings likes to rattle if there is any music with bass. Makes that nice system sound like ass.

Just face it, it's a Chevy. It's GOING to rattle itself to peices. Good luck finding them all.

Do what i did, get 1000 watts of subwoofers, crank em, and sit in one spot and listen for rattles. Took me 30 minutes to locate and own them all!

What model do you have? When I had hubcaps on mine, they rattled.
