He is the manager of the district. His job is to either kiss your a-- to make you happy or send you packing. You must want something repaired that is questionable from your dealer for them to call the district manager. Be nice to him and he will probably help you.

If my car is moving the idle will stay up around 1300 rpm or so . When the car comes to a complete stop it idle's back down .

The district manager is the next step in the chain of command. if the dealer can't satisfy your needs, the district manager can make decisions the dealer can't (or won't). If you truly have a problem the dealer can't take care of (and I'm not saying you don't), the district manager would be your next step.

Lemon law my brother, lemon law. They cant do **** if its been in there more than 3 times to be fixed. They have to give you a new car if you want one, or you can get a new car and some extra cash from them

cobalt has joined my page of throw away cars. the problems rack up quickly and there is nothing that dealerships care or are able to take care of.

this is the last time i'll buy a car based off an import (opel astra), uses a saab based engine, and uses a getrag tranny.

i really hope gm gets their act together with the quality of their sport compacts... i've been at the dealership for 1 month straight, what worries me is things like the sunroof and steering cloumn going bad again, once my bumper to bumper warranty goes next year.. because the parts and labor arent cheap for them... im at 23k miles.... im looking at either an 09 evo or 08 lancer gts 5/60,000 mi basic warranty. 10/100,000 pwertrain

BBB is the better business burea(spelling sucks sorry) Unless i am misinformed. Who was your dealer ? Give me name address ect ect. I'll mention something to one of my union reps and see what i can find out. Gm is trying so hard to catch up with honda and toyota that right now, they are usually most willing to try and make you happy. If Gm gets enough complaints about a dealer Usually the dealer will get notified and basically big brother steps in. I just bought my '07 in may. The dealer told me i would be getting a survey, and if i couldn't answer completely satisfied to all the questions, to let them know and they would take care of it, and they have. PM me with the info if you want. Or put the dealers name in this thread and let other people know what dealer not to use!!!
