it depends on what cobalt you have.
the 2.2 and 2.4 can have a block heater.

but the 2.0 cant last i heard.
one guy a while back told us we could, but he never came back and explained how.

 

u must mean the block heater????...if your car has one ( not sure if its standard)...open the hood and you should see the wire and plug in the back left corner....just infront of the air filter box
