Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

does anyone have this problem?

does anyone have this problem?

when you have the a/c on and you pull up to a light or something and it acts like its trying to die when your sapsoed to be idleing?? it will jump from idle to about 1200 or so then fall to about 3 then back up to 12 ect.... then finaly levels out so far i can only tell it does it with the a/c on

It's a tune issue, alot of Cobalt do it... There is supposedly a reflash available thru the dealer to correct it

It should not be that dramatic when the A/C is on. I can feel increased engine vibes but the RPM is stable at normal idle speed.

Try to see if dealer will reflash computer. Then clean your air filter (if you have CAI--if not, replace air filter), then clean your throttle body and MAF. These things turned my car from barely running to like-new.

i have a brand new cia about 2 weeks old and what would i clean the maf with just a lint free rag? as far as the retune ill just wait on that hpt just shipped and waiting on it. after i get my car out of gm for the 3rd time in 2 weeks....

Right after I put my intake on, when I shift from drive to park, it will jump to 1,000, then fall to 500, then go where its supposed to be. Did it a lot right after install. Now not so much.

u did unplug battery for 10 min after doing a power mod correct?

if not slap urself, regain consciousness and go do it lol

No, I dint, instructions dint mention. I figure that it will learn as I drive it. Its only the GMPP anyway.

Thats what I thought. It seems ok now. Idiling issues are not new to my car anyway. I also like the sound starting at 3,000 now. It atleast it sounds faster.
