Look in the how to thread about your key fob. Some guys just replace it as the thing gets old. The buttons start getting picky and I've heard that putting a little tinfoil under each individual button helps. My fob is getting close to this point so I'll be trying it soon

And when you get out? You lock it with the fob or the door switch?

i cant lock them with the fob period, right now im leaving it unlocked under the camera in my driveway bc im afraid that the passenger door will start acting up and not let me in, so yes i could lock it if i wanted to by the door switch but im nervous the same thing that's happening to my driver do will happen to my passenger

I would suggest starting with the little foil bits under each button. It's a straight forward thing that should take maybe ten minutes. My driver door sometimes won't latch closed when I open it from the inside and close from the outside. I give the outside handle a snap and then it latches. Internal problem. That will effect your locks as well.

I had this problem. What I did to open the door was manually unlock it and lock it ( just move it up and down) lol till u hear a tick, then it finally let's loose.
To fix it take the lock mechanism out, there will be a rust part where the hinge is spray wd40 on it and move it around to dissolve all rust. After u are done it should not get jammed. After that just spray lithium grease on it and BAM good to go

I tried the foil and that didn't work, sometimes when I stick my key in the door it won't turn and sometimes it turns all the way around and nothing happens

Narrows it down to internals. Something is sticking and the electric mechanism isn't powerful enough to open/close. WD40 the crap out of the latching mechanism, shooting at all different angles and crevasses and manually lock and unlock several times. Don't play with the electric switch until you get thus figured out. You could possibly burn the motor out, creating more work. If your feeling extra energetic and really want to do ensure it's done right. Remove your door panel. And clean from the inside as well.

My key fob won't open my trunk either so how would that relate to my drive door? So confused my last resort is to take it to the stealership but I can go another 5 days keeping it unlock it's just asking for trouble

Both my fobs stopped working. I did the tinfoil trick and that works great. I did use some contact adhesive to hold the tinfoil on the button part of the fob. I noticed if it is not there the fob can unlock the doors as you are walking away from the car. Key fobs can be bought on rockauto but they are $60 or so. If you did get one you could just swap out the rubber piece and use your existing circuit board. That way you don't need to get it programed. One other thing is look at the clip that holds the battery in. One side of mine was broken and needed to be re-soldered to make the fob work. This was before the buttons stopped working.
