Door lock/unlock button question
Door lock/unlock button question
This is going to sound stupid. Sorry
My passenger door lock/unlock button has never worked that I can remember.
I opened it up this weekend. There is no plug attached to the under side of the button. I couldn't find one in the door either.
Am I crazy and stupid or did GM have a case of the Mondays and forget to wire my switch in? Is the plug down in the door somewhere?
P.S. My car was in fact born on a Monday.

I'd check down in the door and see if the wiring is there but sorry that's kinda funny
I'd say it has to be there somewhere though because I'm pretty sure everything is all part of one harness in the door
I couldn't stop laughing. Typical unfortunately.
Pulling the door panel off is really easy, just a few screws and clips and that would be easier than searching with a mirror. One screw behind the handle and then a few clips along the edge and maybe another screw there and it pops off

Yeah just remove the door panel 3 bolts if i remember correctly 2 where the butttons are and 1 at the door handle. Then its just clips after than shouldnt take you more than 10 minutes to take off and im giving you time to take off the covers for the bolts some times its hard to take them off
