Ok so I finally bought new battery's to put into my key remote and now I've noticed that my driver door is broken. When I unlock it with the remote it wont go up or down except for like half a centimeter and so I still have to use my key to unlock it.

I guess after using my key to unlock for so long its broken something?? But i don't understand why all of a sudden it wont lock either with the inside car lock.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Is the door actually trying to unlock when u use the remote? Only problem I've had with my doors is my driver side door lock switch. Might want to pull off your panel and see if there's sometype of build up causing a sticky lock

 

yeah when i push the button all it does is jots up but wont unlock so i have to use the key

ill check it out over the week

 

Probably the electric accuator that moves the lock up and down. Could be broken or just stuck and maybe need some lubrication

 

yeah I think it just need some movement b/c it works fine now
