Would my gas cap being loose cause this to go off? Last yr around october my car kept doing this and i ended up taking it to the dealer and they switched the gas cap out and it stopped... this yr october comes around and it starts doing this again... its like an on and off thing... itll come on and sometimes it seems like after 25 miles it goes out again... then it comes back on after like 20 or less miles... car isnt under warranty thats why i havent taken it to the dealer again.
